UK service designation for the long barrel model with barrel shroud. Main variant adopted by the UK.
L95A1
UK service designation for the short barrel model with barrel shroud. Acquired only in small numbers by the UK.
CG 7.62
Designation as marketed by Diemaco / Colt Canada. Reportedly the name CG 7.62 stands for "Chain Gun 7.62". The license was acquired, but production may have never started due to a lack of orders.
Bushmaster 7.62 / Mk 52
Updated production model marketed by Orbital ATK, later Northrop Grumman, since 2011. Reportedly has several modifications for improved reliability. Adopted by the US Navy as the Mk 52.
